2008: Establishment of the company under the name ME.KA.T.E. O.E., marking the beginning of its involvement in the construction and erection of some of the largest industrial and energy projects in Greece.

2019: Renaming of ME.KA.T.E. O.E. to ME.KA.T.E. I.K.E., and the launch of its new privately-owned, fully equipped machine workshop in the KASLA Industrial Area (VI.PE.) of Kozani, which also became the new company headquarters.
